it's simple. really.
so one day you tell yourself let's shut out all your friends.
cling on to your family and most beloved boy/girlfriend.
sure, your parents wont desert you.
your boy/girlfriend might.
then one day you'll have no friends + no boy/girlfriend.
then as you age, one day your parents might leave this world.
then one day you wake up to find yourself so helpless because you have no friends + no boy/girlfriend + no parents.

now that's going to be very sad.

but i'm not supposed to care.
we're all not supposed to care.
because this day you turn us from your door.
compare our affections like a jealous kid.
then this is the day we shut you out.

then this is the day you'll find out how selfish man can be.
and i may not even be there to see that day come.
