Today

This very morning, i wanted to blog about the 45 million bucks spend to build a shrine that worhipped a animal's tooth.

I wanted to tell the world how disappointed i was that 45 million was not spent on making the world a better place, but to clad a shrine in gold.
(and to worship an animal's "relic" tooth.)

Not to mention that fact that i've personally been to that place and found it too magnificant, too luxurious (air-conditioned) and too corporate for my liking. i think it should be a tourist attraction. Thank you very much, but i can worship at Kwan Im Temple instead.

Apparantly, i disagree on the way the reverend spends the people's money. But hey! most people agree with him. my dad does.. so oh well. it's ok, we can ignore the fact that the aging population are suffering from disease and getting inadequate healthcare, or the fact that more storybooks for orphans couldnt hurt anyone. All this will cost a fraction of 45 million, but no! it has to be spent on a structure!

Which is quite an irony because i strongly believe this religion teaches people to do good for the mass, i dont recall teachings asking for beautiful shrines built in strategic locations.

Which is the reason why i'm giving my money to other more worthy causes.

This afternoon i went for my JC class gathering.

Everyone's getting married.
People keep stereotyping that people who marry early are less educated, or marrying cos of "accidents".
I'm proud of my friends for (1) marrying because they know that the other party's really the one, and (2) marrying instead of opting for abortion.

Whether it's the right thing to do is not for me to judge.

But at least they know what they really want, and i cant see past my 4 carat round cut diamond handcuff.

That's slightly depressing.

What more depressing is when i know that my dream wedding is never going to happen.
I think i've lost my gown's designs.
