The exact words were “why are you so content with what you have when you could have taken a step back and noticed all the other opportunities that you’re missing out?”
Shakespeare would have quoted a dozen lines from Romeo & Juliet, if not for the fact that it would have portrayed the naivety of two fools in love.
Or rather, I would have.
Such contempt for the word; used every other year and thrown at every unsuspecting victim…
And then its value depreciates.
If it were sealed with a kiss, then perhaps the weight of the seal means nothing.
And then we cure it by marriage; often leading to undesirable side effects.
Then what’s left?
